Dr. Johanna Budwig's Oil / Protein Combination
A noted German scientist named Dr. Johanna Budwig
studied flaxseed oil, because she knew there was something powerful about it, and she
wanted her patients, many of whom
were terminally ill with cancer, to benefit
from the oil.
After researching the situation, the
late Dr. Budwig realized that in order
to gain all of the nutritional wealth
that flaxseed oil has to offer, it must
be combined with a special form
of protein called sulfurated protein.
This type of protein would allow the
flaxseed oil to really get into the body
and get to work helping people get
healthy again.
Dr. Budwig combined 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil
with ¼ cup of quark, which is sort of like a cottage
cheese/plain yogurt type of food (and rich
in sulfurated protein), and served it to her
patients every day. Amazingly, even some
of her most gravely ill patients began to
improve while on Dr. Budwig’s program,
and many cancer patients saw their tumors
actually begin to shrink.
The combination is key!
So, if you are going to take flaxseed oil,
in order to gain all of the benefits that you
can from the supplement, you really must
follow Dr. Budwig’s ways and combine it
with a sulfurated protein. Even if you are
not ill with a serious disease (and we certainly
hope this is the case!) and you wish
to try flaxseed oil for overall health or to improve your
dry skin or something less serious, it is still a good idea
to do the oil/protein combination every time you take
the flaxseed oil.
Although many people enjoy the taste of flaxseed
oil mixed with cottage cheese (since quark is hard
to find in our country in most areas), there are other
options. Flaxseed oil with added sulfurated protein is
now available in capsule form, which makes getting
all of the benefits of flaxseed oil even easier than
ever. On the label, look for the ingredient “L-Methionine.”

flaxseed oil absorb quickly, easily, and completely into
