However, immature and damaged seeds are more likely to oxidize, leading to rancidity and a deterioration in health benefits. Pizzey's combats this problem by separating immature and damaged seeds using a company patented process. This, coupled with a selective (raw product) purchasing policy, is referred to as the MeadowPure™ process and allows Pizzey's to guarantee the stability of its products under normal, room temperature storage conditions.
